Africa has to find its own road to prosperity

On my last journey to Cameroon, I was shocked and puzzled by what I had the chance to see again after a couple of years, to experience and to go through directly in my own country: poverty makes people dependent on corruption, fosters prostitution, creates expectation to always receive and ultimately makes all forms of foreign help vital.

In my first post on this blog, I warmly denounced the complicity of western leaders as they often feature some of African corrupt and failed leaders during their gathering.

Carbon Manna Implementation's Earning Momentum

The majority of my African folks are left out of the banking system when only a few medium class chaps thriving in business, working for multinational or relatives of politicians and politicians themselves can actually afford or deserve owning a bank account, a debit or credit card.

The majority is left out because they are alleged to be unbankable and are therefore forced to deal with cash, they cannot afford or have access to any credit, which eventually helps keep any bubble out of the real economy. Ergo, nearly no one borrows from the future to spend today as oppose to citizens in the US and in most of the West.

Presidential Election Confirms Ghana's Mature Democracy

Ghana showed the world they are mature enough to join the tiny club of democracies on the African continent.

As a son of 1990s wave of multipartism on the African continent, Ghana gives me pride and joy to be an African. Most young Africans dream of a peaceful transition between their current leader and any winner whom they decide and sometimes fight to choose at the polling station on election day.

No need to list the many cases Africa has shown the world in the last years, no need to describe the sham the people went under and ultimately paid the heavy price.
